Went to CA for the weekend to visit some friends. also happened to revisit some potential mates.

My sister's friend O, Met her about a year ago, she has got to be most genuine and the nicest person I've ever met, she is definately attractive, but not really my type of look. but a solid 10 for being super nice and generous, we like to do the same type of things/activities. definitely a GF and/or wifey material. If/when I move there I will definitely hangout with her. and she is single...

She volunteered to give me a ride home (to my friend's house) I'm going to take it that it's her nature to be so nice and generous, and don't want to misread her kindness.

C, I've met her before, she's cute, but again, not my type of look. kind of the shy and really girlygirl type of girl, which is fine, but not really what I'm looking for. single too...

and Sat night (V-Day night), at like 1:30 I get a text from M6..

"hey what are you up to"

I'm thinking.. :)...

"not much, in CA for the weekend.."

"awnn nice, I'm at Bar/Club__ bored by myself"

uh... no idea what to write back so I didn't.

Next day, texted her a little, then she wrote:

"cool, hit me up when you're back"

so that's a good sign I take it. I'll write her tomorrow.

I'm really considering moving there, not because of the girls, but an EXCELLENT opportunity arose and I can't see myself doing this (work/living how I am now) long term.

Monday 2/9/09

Texted M6 after I left the gym, I thought I would see her there, but didn't.

she write back that she's feeling a little sick and lazy.. lol..

I was going to get something to eat so I asked if she wanted to come along..

"yeah, definitely!.. blah blah"

cool! I thought, so I called her to set it up, she doesn't pick up.. wtf.. I left a vm. 10 min later, no call, 15, 20, no call. wtf kind of weak sauce is this?!!? I'm getting hungry, so I get my food.

Later in the night, I get a text saying she "fell asleep".....

Friday 2/6/09

texted C2 after work.

"Hey C2, hows work today?"

get a reply a couple of hours later..

"busy. on my way to la"

sigh.. future is not looking very bright with her.

I also texted M6 the same time I texted C2, I get a reply back from M6, and we started going back and forth for a while.

It's all good.. but I'm wishing it was with C2 than M6..

Friday 2/6/09

Monday, I decided to text C2 instead of calling, because I really like her and I don't want to F this one up. All the other times I have called a girl up have not ended up well, so I decided to give this one a different approach, and my consultants agree.

So, I texted C2, a basic:

"hey whats up.. blah blah"

All I got was:

"hey. At work."

excited, I replied with some light clever joke and waited to see how she would reply. So I waited and waited, and waited.

That was on Money. Today is Friday. I'm going brush off what happened before, not take it personally and text her again.

She is by far the front runner for girlfriend material of anyone I've met, I'm not going down without a fight.

Saturday 1/31/09

went to bar/club10 to meet up with my buddy I and M4, M4 is looking GOOD, she had glasses on, I LOVE girls with glasses, and she looked great in them.

met these girls, A and C2, A is just cute, beautiful smile, C2.. beautiful girl, vibrant, tall, just magnificent. definitely girlfriend material. a little weird, but she just reminds me of my ex. chatted a little, at the end of the night, I asked C2 for her number, put it in my phone and didn't save it. (user error, it's a new phone)

we had talked about where to eat after, and her and her friends are going to this breakfast place, and my friend L and I decided to go there so I can get her number again. we get there, I get her number, again, a little embarrassing, but oh well. chatted some more.

she said something about "my bf didn't want a dog, and that was the deal breaker.." wtf does that mean? does she have a bf..??

I'm going to call her today or tomorrow to see if she wants to go out. kind of nervous about this one.
